Ode to a Photograph

Within the confines of my possessions

Is an old photo that brings back memories

Time, you’ve swiftly taught me some lessons!

I’d like to think that I have no obsessions

That always cause me to reminisce

About an image that brings back past emotions.

  1. This is a great poem.
“I’d like to think that I have no obsessions” stood out to me. Photographs can hold the most detailed memories, and it can feel like an obsession. I relate with this.
